Toyota just shared a teaser from the new Urban Cruiser SUV, but we’ve only been able to catch a peek at the logos on the grill and those alloy wheels at the moment. Now a second teaser has been released by the Japanese carmaker which also shows even more of the two and a range of specific apps.
If you’re new to the whole tale of the Urban Cruiser, you will know it’s Toyota’s second attempt to rebadge Maruti cars, after the Baleno-inspired Glanza. Both carmakers cooperate, which makes them cross-badge each other’s products.
The new preview from the Urban Cruiser shows a little more of the alloy wheels that are identical to those on the Vitara Brezza aside from the middle Toyota logo. Nevertheless, it seems Toyota has seen some changes on the line. The bumper has again been sculpted, and now has a more menacing feel. The two chrome appliques which make up the front grille of Vitara Brezza are replaced by two horizontal black parts, flanked by two silver garnishing elements. Even the fog lamp housing was rebuilt. Look through it for a bit and you will see comparisons on Toyota to the bigger SUVs like the Fortuner.
Was the attraction unchanged before you see the full front fascia? It is time to know. And the time should come early as in the forthcoming festive season Toyota has confirmed it will release the Urban Cruiser. Should you decide to put down money on one before this occurs, the word from Toyota is that they should start taking reservations from the end of August.
