Audi RS Q8
Audi’s all set to introduce India’s quickest and most efficient SUV, the RS Q8. The pattern was promoted on social media platforms from Audi India, and will go on sale later this month.
The RS Q8 is powered by a twin-turbocharged, 4.0 liter V8 petrol engine which produces 600hp and 800Nm. Power is channeled into an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Audi’s all-wheel drive feature Quattro to all four wheels. This is also receiving a host of other hydraulic brake and suspension updates. Official estimates placed the efficiency of the RS Q8 on supercar territory with a reported 3.8sec period of 0-100kph and a maximum top speed of 250kph (304kph with the available dynamic pack). The RS Q8 is the fastest SUV around the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany which upholds the reported figures.
Exterior improvements to normal Q8 involve a retrofitted ‘Singleframe’ grill and a wide intake of front air. Custom side sills, a downforce-generating RS roof spoiler, a rear diffuser and large quad exhausts are also featured in the performance SUV. The 22-inch wheels are standard, while the 23-inch wheels are potentially optional.
Inside the RS Q8 sports Audi Sport paint, badging, and multimedia interface adjustments customized to your needs. There are also sports seats in leather and Alcantara, and an RS leather-covered flat-bottom steering wheel which is part of the package. The RS Q8 can be completely customisable, much like the regular Q8.
