Skoda Enyaq EV
Skoda had announced the first fully electric SUV, the Enyaq iV, with the vehicles wrapped completely in the green and white camouflage of the brand ‘s logo earlier this year. Although the EV is scheduled for unveiling on September 1, Skoda has now released the Enyaq’s first formal interior teaser.
The teaser drawing shows a streamlined but contoured dashboard style similar to existing Skoda models in service. It also seems to share several style clues with the idea of Vision iV. This transfers the main AC vents underneath the 13-inch touchscreen infotainment panel and includes a sleeker multimedia interface featuring a head-up camera and AR (augmented reality) for the instrument cluster. The hybrid SUV seems to be having a two-speed steering wheel with touch-sensitive buttons and dials knurled.
The controls of the central console are distributed in two levels with a line of buttons above the compartment to store your phones and ports for charging. We can see the cup holders and the new drive selector moving down the Console tunnel. With its pebble-like shape and premium glossy finish, it is quite distinctive, instead of a straight lever or toggle. Next to the drive pick, there is a cubby hole on the passenger side which is likely to provide adequate storage room because there is no transmission tunnel below. The Enyaq iV will also provide a boot space of 485 litres.
